Meeting all your clinical trial challenges head-on

Difficult to reach patient populations, lengthy solution builds and change management process, as well as complex, multi-system site and sponsor workflows challenge the efficiency of today’s trials. Other challenges often include:

  • Accurate IP forecasting and real-time optimization of trial supply
  • Site stock-outs due to fluctuating or unpredictable enrollment or study changes
  • Inefficient integration strategies that do not streamline workflows or promote data visualization

Adaptability, speed & insight

Learn more about IQVIA’s IRT - a randomization and trial supply solution for your site-based or decentralized trial that supports flexibility and optimization while ensuring the right patient gets the right treatment at the right time:

Interactive Response Technology (IRT) describes a comprehensive randomization and trial supply management solution that supports standard to complex trial activities including patient enrollment and randomization to drug supply management and optimization from trial recruitment to close-out. The functions supported by IWRS, IXRS and RTSM platforms are generally incorporated into the more comprehensive IRT solution.

Interactive Web Response Systems (IWRS) are computer prompts that allow site administrators to interact with a database in order to enter study information – this system can integrate with other systems automatically to easily connect with patient data.

IXRS is another term for both Interactive Voice Response Systems (IVRS) and Interactive Web Response Systems (IXRS). These are extremely configurable systems that help patients and investigators interact with databases to connect further with information.

Randomization and Trial Supply Management (RTSM) is a system that accurately controls patient randomization, automates supply and resupply to depots and sites, and handles drug dispensation.

Interactive voice response systems are telephone touchstones that allow study administrators and investigators to interact with a computer database by calling patients and asking questions about any symptoms they may have during a trial. This functionality has been largely replaced by IWRS and IXRS. IVRS is no longer available as part of Cenduit IRT.
